Research opportunities in the NeuroCognition Laboratory

Become an Undergraduate VRA

You could gain valuable undergraduate research experience by becoming a voluntary research assistant [VRA] in our lab. We are always looking for competent, dedicated SDSU affiliated students, usually psychology majors but not always, who have a strong interest in the fields of language and/or cognitive neuroscience. Our VRAs can be involved with setting up participants for EEG studies, learning to work with EEG equipment, developing stimuli for experiments, collecting data and preparing data for analyses. Undergraduates can earn course credit (PSY 499) for being involved in the lab or aspire to conduct a senior project in the lab (PSY 497). Exceptional students have had the chance to complete a senior honors thesis under our mentorship (PSY 498).
