Welcome to the NeuroCognition Laboratory

The NeuroCognition Lab is co-directed by Drs. Phillip Holcomb and Katherine Midgley. We study the brain basis of human cognition, most notably, the neuronal underpinnings of language comprehension and production. Our research primarily uses event-related potentials (ERPs) to track the time course of language processes in the brain. You can get a better undestanding of our research by reading about some of our on-going projects or by reading some of our published manuscripts.

Be sure to check out the web pages of our sister laboratories, Jonathan Grainger's Lab, in Marseille France and Karen Emmorey's lab (LLCN) at SDSU!
